Fair Use Policy

What each plan includes, how monthly allowances work, and what “Unlimited” means on Max.

Effective date: 1 November 2026

Why some features have limits

Most of billinginfo costs us the same however much you use it: billing, stock, parties, payments, expenses, reports, backup and sync have no usage limits on any plan. A few features cost us money every time they are used, because each use goes to an outside service:

These are the usage-based features. This policy explains how much of them each plan includes.

The 7-day Plus trial (₹9 including GST, no auto-charge) includes, for the trial week, 1 e-Way Bill, 2 GSTIN lookups, 3 AI bill scans and 5 BillBot questions a day. There is one trial per mobile number, business and device.

Plus, Pro and Max can also add one free login for your chartered accountant, with view-only access.

Plus and Pro come with exactly these allowances and no other cap. The fair-use limit described below applies only to Max.

Allowances belong to the business and are shared by everyone who uses it, on the phone app and the web app. They reset on the 1st of each month and don’t carry over. The daily BillBot limit resets every day. When an allowance runs out, that feature pauses until it resets or you move to a bigger plan; everything else keeps working.

What “Unlimited” means on Max

On Max, the usage-based features are unlimited for normal business use. To keep the plan fair for everyone and protect it from abuse, there is a monthly fair-use limit. It is set well above what a busy small business uses, and it applies to the business as a whole: across the phone app and the web app, and whichever way the plan was bought.

If a business reaches the fair-use limit:

Max is meant for the business that holds it. We may review use that looks automated, scripted or resold to others, and limit it if it goes beyond normal business use.

Changes to this policy

If we change the plans or allowances, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date.
